Gmail and Google+ changes
Google is rolling out even more integration with with Google+ allowing anyone in your Google+ circle to email you, even if they don't have your email address:

Some people may like this feature, but I'm pretty sure lots won't. You can turn this feature off though:

The Gmail / Google+ change is happening incrementally though, so you may not see the options in your Gmail settings at the moment (note, options will show up on the desktop browser version of Gmail). You should get an email from Google saying that the integration is occurring, at which point you will have the necessary options in your Gmail settings.
